The Manuscript Center receives a scientific delegation from our college
The Manuscript and Documentation Center at the Research and Studies Department received a scientific delegation from our college on Monday morning, 4th November , 2024, as part of a scientific and knowledge exchange program between the institutions of the scientific endowment.
The delegation included graduate students in the Master’s program specializing in Tafsir, accompanied by faculty members from the Department of Religious Foundations.
The delegation was welcomed by the center’s director, Dr. Diaa Al-Maari, who briefed them on the nature of the center’s departments, with a comprehensive explanation of the work of each department provided by the assistant director and the department heads.
At the end of the field visit, a scientific session was held for the graduate students in the hall of Professor Dr. Muhi Hilal Al-Sarhan, where Dr. Diaa Al-Maari emphasized the importance of manuscripts and encouraged students to pursue scientific research on manuscripts, especially those in the center’s possession, and to revive the scientific heritage, which will help facilitate all scientific and administrative tasks.
For their part, the teaching staff, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Assif Daham Salem, head of the Department of Religious Foundations, expressed their sincere gratitude to the center’s management and employees for their warm reception and the detailed scientific explanation about the work with manuscripts
