Library Department Activities

On Tuesday, 3rd December, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Dawood, head of the Library Department, held a lecture in the college library for a number of students from various departments. During the lecture, students were introduced to everything new in the library and how books are classified within it. He also explained how to search for a specific book on a particular subject and provided a brief overview of the process for borrowing books from the library. It is well known that the library plays a significant role in cultivating a person’s interest in reading, as the sight of books lined up on the shelves entices viewers to explore them. Libraries also provide those who cannot afford to buy books and large encyclopedias the opportunity to access books for free. Additionally, they offer students many reliable sources and references that they can cite in their academic research, with confidence in their accuracy and validity.
