Central celebration of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth anniversary

Under the patronage and presence of Prime Minister Engineer Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, and with the supervision and follow-up of His Excellency the President of the Sunni Endowment, Dr. MIshan Al-Khazraji, the Sunni Endowment held a grand central celebration for the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth.

The Sunni Endowment organized a major central celebration on the occasion of the blessed birth anniversary of the Prophet. It was attended by Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, His Excellency the President of the Sunni Endowment, Dr. Mushan Al-Khazraji, political and religious figures, members of Parliament, ministers, ambassadors, and religious scholars.

In his welcoming speech, Dr. Al-Khazraji emphasized the importance of commemorating the birth of the pride of creation, Muhammad (peace be upon him), by following his path and adhering to his righteous guidance, spreading his noble teachings, and reviving his fragrant Sunnah.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani also congratulated everyone during his speech at the event, celebrating the blessed birth of the Messenger of the Nation, Muhammad ibn Abdullah (peace be upon him and his family), whose light has continued to shine throughout the ages through his great Quran and Sunnah, which have become a constitution organizing our worship and transactions. He stressed the need to work under the banner of his noble morals to protect our societies from questionable behaviors that threaten our moral system, invade our nations, and endanger our families.

The event included several activities, including the recitation of the Quran, visual presentations, prophetic praises, poetry, calligraphy, and painting.
