Al-Imam Al-Adham University College Participates in the Women’s Development and Creativity Festival for (2024)

Under the guidance of the Dean, the college participated in the first Women’s Development and Creativity Festival organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, held on 18th December, 2024, with the attendance of prominent academic and cultural figures. The college was represented at this event by Dr. Ahmed Al-Jaf, Director of the Continuing Education Center, and Ms. Haneen Qusay, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college. Their participation reaffirmed the college’s commitment to supporting the national strategy for Iraqi women by enhancing women’s involvement in development and creativity pathways. It is noteworthy that the festival included honoring universities and colleges that achieved the highest rates of success in women’s affairs, in addition to recognizing the heads of women’s affairs departments and celebrating success stories within educational institutions. Moreover, a student handicrafts exhibition was held alongside the festival, showcasing the creativity of students from Iraqi universities.
