A Scientific Discussion

On Monday, 8th July, 2024, the public defense of the master’s thesis of the student (Bilal Khalid Nayif), in the Department of Quranic Readings, was conducted. This took place in the hall of Dr. Makki Al-Kubaisi – may Allah have mercy on him – in the Saba’ Abkar building. The title of his thesis was “The Tracking of Imam Al-Turmuzi (d. 1338 AH) on Imam Al-Shatibi (d. 590 AH) in his book Ghuniyat Al-Talib bi Sharh Al-Taybah, A Collection and Study”.  After an extensive discussion of the thesis and its contents by the esteemed committee members, the thesis was approved with a distinction grade.
