Scientific Discussion in the Department of Quranic Readings

On Wednesday, 16th October , 2024, the public defense of master’s student Du’aa Tahir Thamir took place in the Department of Quranic Readings. The event was held in the Dr. Maki Al-Kubaisi hall (may God have mercy on him) in the Al-Sab’ Bakar building. Her thesis was titled “The Impact of Variations in Readings on Pausing and Starting According to Al-Nakzawi (d. 683 AH) in His Book ‘Al-Iqtida in Understanding Pauses and Starts’ from Surah Al-Fatiha to Al-Isra: Compilation and Study.” After an extensive discussion of the thesis with the committee members, the thesis was accepted with a satisfactory grade.
