The Department of Assurance and Quality participates in a workshop on the classification of universities (Shanghai)

In the context of the Deanship of the Al-Imam Al-Adham University College’s endeavor to enhance the college’s position in international classifications, the Department of Assurance and Quality in our college participated on Wednesday 8/1/2024 in a specialized workshop on the classification of (Shanghai) for universities, organized by the University of Baghdad in cooperation with the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of representatives of quality assurance departments in Iraqi universities.
The workshop dealt with key topics, most notably the criteria adopted by the Shanghai Classification in the university calendar, which includes: scientific research, publication in reputable journals, the number of research citations, and the number of international awards received by faculty members and graduates.
At the end of the workshop, the floor was opened for the attendees to exchange ideas and come up with practical recommendations that would improve the university’s ranking in international rankings and enhance its competition in the international university arena.
